HOW DOES THIS CONFERENCE DIFFER FROM OTHERS?
The Design Build Architect Conference is a 'how to' program. It not only presents the facts and realities of the current market, but it provides attendees with the tools and information necessary to expand existing services via the design build industry. Real like projects, budgets, schedules, contracts and insurance policies are analyzed with the audience; best practice techniques of experienced design build professionals are shared.
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A CONFERENCE?
Signing up for a conference is easy. Go to the green SIGN UP button above and find your desired conference date and location. Click on the Google checkout button and proceed to checkout with the security of Google's online shopping cart. Once you register, you will receive and email confirmation and additional details.
HOW MANY AIA CREDITS IS THE CONFERENCE?
Each of the The Design Build Architect conferences is 9 AIA Continuing Education Credits. This is half of the annual continuing education credits required by the AIA for membership.
WHERE DO I REGISTER FOR AIA CREDITS?
When you sign in to the conference you will be asked to provide your AIA registration number. These numbers will be organized and reported back to the AIA in the days following the conference.
WHAT IS THE DAILY ITINERARY?
There will be registration and continental breakfast from 7:30 0- 8:15am in the lobby of the respective venue. The first speaker will begin at 8:15am. A box lunch will be provided for attendees during a noon lunch break. There will be a series of coffee and bathroom breaks throughout the day. The conference concludes at 5pm.
WHO ARE THE SPEAKERS?
The speakers are highly qualified professionals in the fields of architecture, construction, law and insurance. A local lawyer and insurance agent are chosen in each city to discuss local issues and experiences. These individuals may also be a valuable asset in future endeavors. WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE CONFERENCE?
A willingness to learn. The Design Build Architect will provide you with a workbook with all of the presentation materials from the day to use as a reference guide. We encourage the audience to take notes and ask questions. If you are hoping to obtain AIA credits, please bring your AIA registration number.
IS THERE A CUT OFF DATE FOR REGISTRATION?
Because we wish to have enough resources for everyone, we ask that you submit your registration a week before the conference is scheduled.
